Cleaned up the armature as the starter was a bit lazy.
Sorted now and starts on the button, I still love the novelty of it just springing to life

Couple of shakedown rides completed and I have to say it runs really well.
Lost a seat pin because I had just slipped them in and didn't fit the R clip because the seat needs a tidy up, I did the same thing on my CT1

Still need to finish a few bits before I call it complete.
I didn't take on the ford crossing, I'll save that pleasure for The Greenie.

Finally completed and very happy with the result.
Getting screws and bolts zinc plated makes a huge difference to the look of the bike.
My CT1-C benefited too from my new found zinc plating friend.
Been a fun bike to do.
Got a bike meet tomorrow twenty five miles away and I'm looking forward to a steady ride down the lanes.
Here she is running.

Cheers Schu, appreciate it.
I know I could have just cleaned it up and had another rider, but I bought it as a bike I wanted to test my skills on and learn a few things too.
I need to sell my RT1 and my CT3 to make room for the next project.
Might even let the AT1 go later down the line, but the CT1's are keepers

It's not heard that often...  and it seems everyone wants a 360 or 400...  but I used to hear how the 175's were the most fun.  And after owning a few I have to agree.

The best evidence I heard was from a gentleman who had a Yamaha dealer and would take out a bunch of bikes to go riding with friends and family...  he told me the only bikes that were always being ridden were the 175's...

Good to hear people in the UK have good taste too.

Nice work, Pete! Coming over the pond in September. Hope to see you scream by me when I’m there. 25 mike trip on an AT1 sound great as long as you don’t have to keep it pinned the entire trip.
