You might just check with DEET for the washers, copper sometimes doesn't seal well.

When I put my RT1 together I had a leak there. But I bought the correct tap and chased the threads to get all the gunk and paint out of the threads,  got new fibers and re-assembled. I tightened the banjo pretty good but had a small drip. Tightened a little more, less drip.Gave another little turn and finally no drip in over a year. I just want to say get good clean threads and tighten. It may take a little tighter than you think...it did for me anyway.
