I used a spoke wrench made by Tusk. Here is where I ordered it.

Here is a photo of before and after on the outside of the rim. These rims really clean up nicely. If you want a pristine brand new rim, I would suggest Buchanan's www.buchananspokes.com/

New bearings, new seals, new grease fitting, fresh grease, new brake pads. I am in the process now of putting it all back together.

The old sprocket was needing replaced. You can notice some of the teeth were getting very sharp. The new sprocket has circles cut out This reduce's the overall weight of the sprocket.

I believe the cutout sprocket is what came stock. Some of the aftermarket does and some don't

You could always get a custom sprocket with custome cutouts too . . .

That is a custom plasma-cut proof of concept I did some time ago. Pretty simple with the right tools and software . . .
IF it isn't one thing, it's another.

The bike had 13/47. It will now have 14/47 which is what it was from the factory.

The rear inner plastic fender had a piece broken off. I welded it, and it seems durable. Cleaned up the grime. I could spray paint it or leave it as is.

All the parts are painted, except the skid plate and air box. The bike never came with an air box, I am not sure if I will run the air box or pod filter. It came with a pod filter. The skid plate had alot of abuse. I have already sand blasted the air box and skid plate. I am probably going to borrow one off another bike until I get it repaired.

I need to remove a little orange peel, then they are ready to bolt on. My bike did not come with a tool kit. I will borrow one from another bike, with a couple extra tools thrown in.

This is why the previous owner sold it. He was a young college student who didn't know what was wrong with it. Since I am a mechanic, problems don't intimate me. I don't have much experience, yet, on these old Enduros. I am learning more everyday. My first thought was, the transmission gears were grinding. I recorded a video, of the sound it was making. It did not take long to discover the problem.

Here is the video, loud grinding!

What a mess! No problem....
