Dave - got the pipe back Saturday and installed.
Looks and sounds great.
Haven't ridden it yet to give a review.
I will post again after I do that.
Thanks

Dave (still haven't had a ride on the 250 yet, we have a thing called snow here),
Do you find the sleeper mod responds to any changes in the stock jetting on these bikes?
Particularly the 250A....

The Sleeper Pipe does not usually require jetting changes......its really a "plug and play"
situation. Although with your pipe I was surprised to find a lot of oil and unburnt fuel.
If you do a lot of slow speed riding that might explain it...if not you may want to lean your bike out some and or check to make sure your airfilter of airbox is not clogged. Also make sure your transmission side crank seal is good ?
I am excited to see how your bike responds to your new Sleeper Pipe ?

This is most interesting. Once I get the DT400 back together with everything back to normal and running right, I may need to look into one of these babies. That bike is pretty nice right now, but I can only imagine if we were to open up the path to power just a tad bit, it would be amazing!
IF it isn't one thing, it's another.

Meis, would you be willing to do a sleeper pipe for a 1978 DT175? Enduronut can give you the info on how the engine is set up with the porting and the head mod it has. it also needs the internal baffles to be removed and Enduronut knows where they are and how to remove them and where to cut and shorten the pipe to make the porting more effective.
the pipe also needs the part where it goes on the engine to be repaired as well. I have a RT180 pipe I can cut off the inlet and send it with the stock DT175 pipe.

We have no issue doing a DT175 sleeper pipe for you ....
the inlet will be an issue since we don't have a DT175 to test fit the inlet and pipe to.
Maybe you can cut off and tack weld the new inlet in place....we could then do the final weld?
I am sure your understanding my point.....
Let me know your thoughts ?
