The Aevoe Silver was a great match for "Yamaha Silver" for 1st generation enduros like is noted. However I cannot say that I had any luck with this paint. I bought a six pack and only one can sprayed much at all. Maybe 1/2 can and then it stopped spraying. The other 5 either sprayed for a second or not at all. It is a pretty well known company so do not understand what went wrong.

Thanks! The red in the picture looks a little brighter than mine. I'll look into it

Even though Yamaha called it candy red, I think I am looking for a candy apple red. I see some online that look close.

I think candy apple will be too red/bright. I think this Ford red is close. You could buy a can and see what you think. I think this needs to go over a white base.

I am restoring my 74 dt360a and just painted my gas tank.
on my original gas tank there was about three different shades of green.
I noticed underneath the seat area it had a spot that had not been exposed to the sun that was a more yellowish green. the rest of the gas tank had faded to a more bluish-green. I personally don't like the look of darker green so I decided to match it to a green that is on the lighter side closer to the color that I found underneath the seat.
ended up going with a PPG color 45732 bright metallic green
these pictures are taken with my cell phone camera which doesn't do a good job, the green can look different from picture to picture.
