Fuel Tap 322-24500-02-00 was created by tlh0824
Hello can someone tell me the thread and pitch for this petcock
www.partzilla.com/product/yamaha/322-24500-02-00
hoping I can find a generic one on amazon, 50 bucks seems a little high,
I have had bad luck with the knock offs on ebay.

Be careful of some of the aftermarket ones, they don’t flow enough fuel. At least for a SC500, it will starve for fuel and possibly hole a piston, (voice of experience).
Thanks Mark

Yes,
I had one like this
Yes,
I had one like this
and pulled it off because of fuel starvation created an out-of-control rev.
I am currently running a broken tap that just flows on with a generic 1/4 fuel line tap
Should I just bite the bullet $50 bucks cheaper than a new rebuild?
