Thats a simple design. If I wanted one bad I would take that to somebody that has a pentagram torch cutter you know the kind they cut designs on a table with a computer guided program. I ran into this trying to find a heat shield for a ltmx. The cost would have been around a 100 bucks but it cuts them out perfectly.

That's not a bad price at all. Looking again at the piece even I could make one, but after getting it mocked up, cut with regular old tin snips and dremmelled, plus forming somehow- do not know how off hand, polish- it would take me all day-perhaps 10 hours I imagine..

If someone had a life sized pattern, I have access to a plasma cutting table (computer controlled). I would likely be able to make such a thing with such apattern.

Most likely make it out of stainless sheet, so it could be mirror polished instead of needing to plate. Once the pattern was created, multiple copies could be done for not much more than the cost of metal. They would still need some hand forming to create the curve of the pipe, but that would be doable. Possibly even create a wooden form to use . . .

I don’t really have time anytime soon to take this on, but would certainly be interested in trying at some point.

I assume there are a couple sizes - 125/175 & 250/360

Would need either a decent shield for the correct size. Rust is no issue, but it would need to be fairly un-bent. A good template cut exactly to size would work, but then the bending/shaping would be up to the recipient.

Also be good to have exact measurements to locate the mount screws at that could be verified. If someone can supply a blank sample or good template, I am game to try!

I have that pipe ( somewhere !?! ) I remember the shield is slight crack and needs welding, grinding and re- chroming after welding..
Next time I head up to my storage, I could find it and make a template. PM me.
