After 50 years, they start to look gold. Pretty sure they were silver when new.

I still vaguely remember a model that had gold trim.. instead of chrome emblems on the side panels, they were gold too.
I think it was a special edition or maybe a European version?

I bought a set of NOS emblems for my 71 DT1 in the early 90s they were and are silver and black. I can send pictures, they are on my RT

Thanks RTD2...The majority here seem to agree that they should be silver and black, as I suspected. I have a used set and a new repop set that are gold. Who knows...I'll probably pay more attention on future purchases because in the photos by sellers you just can't tell the color.
