I tried to post an ad here in the classified section, but to no avail.

Selling . . . Lower throttle cables for the 1975 & 76 DT250 & DT400 models
> > > Part number 498-26312-00 (Specifically, the pat # for the DT250 models)

Basically I'm offering 4 of these OEM/NOS lower throttle cables at the discounted price of $100 ea. (shipped)
* I say discounted, because these obsolete cables are selling on eBay for around $150 each.
At $100 ea., I'm only making around $6 or $7 per cable.

NOTE :
(This cable will also work on the DT400 model, as the cables are exactly the same, except for the rubber carb cap boot, which was larger on the DT400 models)

I'm not sure if this will help you guys out or if the cables are actually correct but HVC Cycle just released a complete upper and lower set for a decent price.

I bought a couple of the throttle cables from HVC, overall they look to be great quality cables and the right length. The spring wrapping around the cable is a little different.

Here is a couple of pictures.

The HVC cable is the top one in the pictures, the NOS cable is the lower one.

That looks like it comes complete with the top cable for $65 which is a great price. HVC tends to have good quality stuff when they do the repops. I think this solves the issue we have had.

Thanks for following up on this Mark!
