Not posted about my flight simulator exploits since Xmas. So what have I been up to?
Well just after Xmas I sallied forth on another journey, in real time and in real weather - Ferrying a Beech Royal Duke from the UK to Sydney Australia, swapping it for a different version and heading home via a different route.
Being in real time and real weather, my arrival in Sydney was a tad disappointing. Due to the time difference I have not flown in daylight for months and due to real weather, I arrived over Sydney in thunderstorms and poor visibility. No opportunity for sightseeing in bright moonlight, just poor visibility, turbulence and a strong crosswind on landing. Such is life.
