Fascinating. No mucking around.
All the safety gear--who needs it.
I admire all they do & could watch stuff like this all night.

I enjoyed watching that one.
Twenty years in engineering and I've seen some very impressive stuff.
Worked with lots of older guys with fingers missing as a result of poor health and safety, my generation benefited from improvements to health and safety, correct PPE and awareness of long term effects of exposure to chemicals, noise etc.
I've got to admit they have some skill with that giant can opener, though I do wonder what the number of lost fingers to tank ratio is.
Not sure I'd want to work there.

Thanks Pete yeah for me that had no idea how tanks were made I was riveted to it. Goes on for a while . Be Royal enfields I guess & a 350 "54 bullet was my first scramble race bike haha in about "62. I'd like to see the painting process & painting lines. Think I've seen one before come to think. Was thinking all along I wonder how they weld the base to the top & it was done while I was still pondering then thinking sparks everywhere as they rolled it around, oh that must've been it haha. Then pressurising them for leaks.

Very cool Morley. I'm guessing the tanks on ebay are made by these guys. Looks like they do a pretty descent job although I wasn't too thrilled about how they toss them around.
