CT3 Sleeper Pipe was created by Pete-RT1

With the "how to" info shared last week, today I performed surgery on the CT3 exhaust and made myself a sleeper pipe.
My mate, a fabricator, did the welding for me.
I employed a bit of Guy Willison cardboard aided design and turned out well.
Seems to give the bike a lot more mid range pull.
Slightly louder than stock but nothing too drastic.

I am very glad to see that someone has made a sleeper pipe from my old post!

Don, was a fun few hours spent tinkering in my mate’s fab shop, thanks for the information.
I initially thought it was a bit louder until I compared it against my CT1 and it’s actually about the same, just a different tone.
Hopefully a few more of us will give it a go and carry on your good work

How sad am I to be looking out for diesel spills on the bends and roundabouts while watching the vid?

Tinkicker, it's the other motorists you need to keep an eye on.
Had a little ride out on my CT1-C last weekend and feels so different to the eager CT3.
I'm calling my "Sleeper Copy" a success and recommend anyone with the means to give it a go if they want a bit more out of their bike.
