I have another CT3 was created by Pete-RT1

Sold my previous CT3 last year to make space for another project (DT175MX).
Couldn't resist a bargain and picked up this beauty at the weekend.
Moved the Red Devil to a mate's garage so I could squeeze this one into my collection.
It's in really nice original condition, so I won't be messing with it too much.
Starts first kick, but won't rev out when riding, so when I get time in the next few weeks I'll investigate

You really need to get a bigger shed/garage/barn/warehouse!

Wow very nice CT3. Looks good as new.
Might need a good rev down the road to clear it out--or not.

Wow.  That is mint.  My first ever bike being a AT3 when I was 12, I have a soft spot for this era of enduros.

Checked timing, which was bob on.
Checked compression and found it comparable to my other CTs.
Bike came with a 74/75 DT125 fitted with correct jetting from the original CT3 Carb and a new float needle valve. PO said the original slide was sticking.
Swapped the jetting and needle valve back to the original carb, which does stick when the flange is fully tightened, so I'll need to pop carb off again and flatten the flange out, which I've had to do on a few of my other bikes.
When I removed the needle float valve I noticed it wasn't very tight which may have been the problem.
With the original carb on it runs great now, tiny bit of adjustment as it seems a little rich at low throttle, but is chomping at the bit to go from 5krpm.
Will leave that for now as I might need to tweak the carb after making the sleeper pipe.
Here's a video of the test ride.

Sounds great but must admit i skipped forward a bit although will come back tonight & watch it.
But caught enought to hear the slight richness mentioned but think it'd be a mistake to lean the needle off a clip groove as sounds ok at about 'that' 'needle' speed & revs.
So realy leaves cutaway which isn't easy to play with or go down in pilot jet one size then reset the air screw to idle rich enough. What's the idle mixture screw set at now.
Or ignore all this & carry on. She sounds great. Love watching videos of your country lanes.
If i tried that here in nz i'd get wiped out by boy racers in high powered cars going sideways.
Which reminds me of in my youth & 'Me' going sideways on my 500 G80 Matchless 'trail bike' [had to make our trail bikes back then lol] & i ripped the side of a 55 vanguard i encountered on a corner who was on a sunday drive on a local gravel road.
So, no wonder motorcylists have a bad name--my fault!!.
