Actually the last thing I bought on Craigslist, a number of years ago, it took me forever to get a response from the seller. It was a Fender Telecaster, listed as a fairly current model, but it looked like a vintage one to me. I kept contacting the person, and finally they got back to me. I tried to get the serial number on it, but they would not provide that. It was listed for $500, and after about a week they got back to me and said if you want it, we'll give it to you for $275.

It was about an hour away, so I drove up and took a look at it, and indeed it was a 1975 Fender Telecaster with its original case. Needed some work and some other love, but I bought it and brought it home, and invested a little of my own time and work, paid for some fret work, and had the original neck pickup rewound, and it's probably worth about $2,500 or more. I have $450 total invested in it, but would never sell it.

I'm not in the market for another Enduro, but again, I'll let you know if they contact me, and you might try them again as well. If they do get in touch, like I said, I wouldn't mind dropping by to take a personal inspection of it.

Bill, did he call you back? I just noticed he texted me last night that it's an RT 1. I haven't replied yet, it's early out here, but if he called you you guys could communicate.

He has not called me.
The hours spent riding my Enduros is not deducted from my life span.

I just texted that I contacted him on behalf of someone with an out-of-state phone number, so maybe he'll look at his phone again. Also asking if its original or restoration, and if he has any other Yamaha parts. You might try texting him. What I've found around here is that people respond to texts quicker than they do a voicemail.

The seller just called me, his name is Mark, and he's been out of town. He said the RT1 has been fully restored and it is absolutely pristine. Matching numbers on the frame and engine, everything is polished, it's a showpiece, and he wouldn't even ride it. That's why in the ad he suggested it might be something a business might want to put out for customers to gawk at. He wants $12K for that

He said he'll send some better pictures, and I told him that a Bill from Virginia might be calling, and he'll keep an eye out for you. Seems like a nice guy.

Someone needs to save this poor bike, 74 DT250, what's up with them handlebars!?  If it was anywhere here in Florida I'd go get it but Illinois is too far for me...

I saw this CT-1 on FBM this morning. The ad shows it was listed 4 days a go in Rockwall, TX.
