SAMPLE OF MY MOTORCYCLE was created by daniel-jaros
Hello
My name is Daniel and I am from Europe from the Czech Republic.
I want to show you my 1977 yamaha 125R motorcycle.
I bought the motorcycle undamaged with a damaged engine.
I went through a complete renovation
- the engine
- front fork
- aluminum parts
- chrome parts
- mechanical parts
- plating of the joining material was carried out with chom.
I left the original color.
I still want to restore the wheels.
I am sending photos from the renovation.
I hope you like it.
Greetings from the Czech republic
sorry, I'm using a translator.

Very nice job. Well done. I see it's electric start & if they charge too hard it makes the motor work harder & reduces the horsepower. The generator is just an electric brake & we used to play around at work [well i did haha] to see how much difference it made & its quite an obviouse struggle if charging is increased.
But anyway i didn't do that for long before i melted something & only did it out of curiosity & to experiment.
I did it by holding my finger under the edge of the charging side of the regulator & put upwards pressure on it which probably gave it 20 volts or so.
Alway thought that if i had one & wasn't worried about electric start or lights i'd back of the charging to give just enough to keep the battery up for ignition.
Anyway just another stupid idea i had once. I actualy did similar on my LS2 100 twin although its an alternator but i altered the charging side to give the least charge i could get away with.
Was just an old bike with no lights so not much charge required & went extra well. Went much better than the very tidy original second bike i had. [Actualy i had three at once]. Plus 40+ years earlier i used to ride one to work in the late "70's.

Thank you all.
Regarding the refurbishment of aluminum parts.
It's a technology of grinding + sanding + chemical paste.

Sounds like hard work 'that'.
When the alluminium is cleaned up & pollished like that, do you need to clear coat it or just--keep polishing or keeping it clean etc.
