GT Hooker with no flange? was created by Schu

I am interested in this Hooker pipe that is listed for a GTMX, but it doesn’t have the threaded collar and flanged end like I assume it would have.

Any ideas on how this would join up to the GT cylinder? Maybe it is incorrectly listed as a GTMX pipe.

Edit:
I just noticed that this pipe would sweep up on the left side instead of the right side….now I’m really confused.

It still opens if you enter GTMX Hooker

And yes it’s expensive…….but you can’t find one cheaper, because you just can’t find one!

Just be sure it going to fit [which i do wonder]. Possibly the header just fits over the screw on cylinder flange & clamps up [but i doubt that--wouldn't seal anyway]. Lucky ya not buying in our dollars--more than $650.

I put the link in your post... it's not you, ebay is blocking "hotlinking" from websites... remember how ebay links used to show a preview like YouTube still does? Ebay blocks that from happening which is why the link doesn't show anymore.

You can use the "link" icon to insert a link, just use the ebay HTTP address is the URL field and then name the link something in the box above that. Don't put the ebay address as the description or it will get blocked again.

My guess is that it is a JT pipe with no flange nut. It exits left as others have pointed out. Here are a couple of JT pipes for reference, one stock and one Bassani (I think).

Still something a bit odd about that pipe... heat shields are on upside down once it's on the bike.
