I can't say for certain that the RX125 is the same, but on bikes such as the RD125 and RD200, the end is peened (hammered) over the lever - see link to photo of the inside of the RD125DX to see what I mean (the photo is the second image, and you can click on it to expand).

Wow ok I never thought of that thank you! That seems like it’s worth a try.

hmm. Wonder if I can do it in the bearing press. I just don’t know how I’m going to peen it without damaging the side cover  haha

Yes, that thought occurred to me as well!

I guess you could try and fit something beneath the lever, to act as a dolly for the hammer.

On my own RD200, I took the easy way out and just bought a complete new cover with the mechanism already fitted!

I like your thinking. Although i haven’t come across any rx125 covers and have already spent a bit on this build so gonna have a go with the press.

just googled it and it seems like people are using presses to peen pins. Will see how it goes

There should be brass metal that go thru the cables, any bike with these kind of clutch setup use same kind of things.
Look at Suzuki 1971 -72 TC100 /125
Or GP 100/125 diagrams, that should give you the idea of the missing brass part for your bike ,and the stop nut .

My GP 100 I changed those centre adjusting thread shaft with longer allen screw.

If the arm didn't move the spiral might be their hole is butcher ? Or center hole got rounded already?
These picture from is from Amazon. Parts for RX125.

No parts missing in my opinion...  needs to be peened as was already advised.

I'm trying to remember but I think the way to do it is in a vise...  seal on of course...  peen arm on and then fiddle the worm and press seal into case as you go?  Need to "time" it correctly.  It is possible they welded arm too.

RT325 might chime in he's the king of these types of repairs without factory tools....  Early AT/CT had the same arrangement and likely used the same parts knowing Yamaha.

When I did the clutch arm on my little JT I used a vice and a ball peen hammer. I used a long tubing spacer to take the impact and direct it into a block I placed on the bottom of the vice jaw. Then I took the ball peen hammer to it.

I'll look later on computer but just be sure to start the worm on the right position & without thinking you probably have two chances to get it wrong. Don't forget the seal. Rest the outer end on something solid steel. Spread the part to peen over slightly with something maybe just a small punch up past the end where it tapers up. Then peen it over. Sounds easy--Not. Probably replaced 50 over the time i worked at the shop mostly on farm bikes with the same style actuator full of mud until they got so reluctant to move that the cable eye gave up. But not done one for a very long time. I still have a new pair hanging on the wall for my AT1. Don't forget to grease it too.
