AT3 front fork seals was created by gunship09

I have removed the fork legs, taken off the dust cover, but am struggling to get the fork seal out.

I have two new ones to go in.

I have done all the usual screwdriver, sharp pick things now.

Is it OK to use a bit of heat?

These tubes are brittle. I recommend multiple applications of penetrating oil and heat. I use a multi jaw seal puller with a slide hammer.

By tubes, do you mean the lower alloy half of the forks?

Can I undo the lower hex cap head screw and take the inners out to get better access to the seal?

I was hoping to just prise them out.........

Emphasis on the Tubes are brittle!!! I cracked two of them in the past trying to change out the seals... (not cheap to replace via Ebay)

I now just carefully use a Dremel tool and grind out the old seals......... (Have to make sure to really clean out the tube when you are done)

All out now. Undid the bottom cap head bolt with a 6mm on a rattle gun.
Took inner tubes out.
Used a dremel with a small burr on the end to cut through the seal metal outer.
folded one cut edge towards the middle and thy just lifted out.
Thanks for your help.
