Hi Fellas, can someone advise me what to use in a sonic bath to clean the carbs ie vinegar, acetone , detergent ?? thanks

I use LA’s Totally Awesome All Purpose Cleaner from the local dollar store. You can get it almost anywhere. I mix it with water and reuse it over and over. It doesn’t take much. Maybe 3 parts water to 1 part cleaner. I just eyeball it. It does darken the aluminum, so if that’s going to bother you then DON’T USE IT.  I also use it to clean up nasty bikes as I break them down for rebuild.

Do a forum search because I think there was a full thread on it where people gave all kinds of creative recipes.

Don’t use acetone or anything flammable watch YouTube to see what cleaner doesn’t turn it dark it’s out there I had some and ran out went to order more and the chemist died and took his formula with him. Now I Vapor blast first and then use water and dawn in my ultrasonic cleaner
