Most people don’t know the eBay trick or don’t use the eBay trick. Yama-Specific orientation is a tradition, not given freely because there’s already enough competition getting parts that could take 400 days to find..

Thanks everyone for your comments! I was able to find a lot of good parts from ebay last week. Has anyone ever tried Keyster carb rebuild kits? I found one for both of my Yamaha bikes. I was able to get my CT1 running before the kits arrived, but now I have spare parts. I plan to rebuild my DT125 this week with the Keyster kit.

Float needle and seat should be ok...  make sure the size of the hole the fuel comes through in the seat that threads into the carb body is similar to the original.

Don't use the Keyster jets or slide needle.  Sometimes they work ok, more often they cause running issues.  Stick with the original Mikuni jets and calibrated parts...  with the probable exception of the float needle and seat mentioned above.

(float needle and seat is calibrated and does come with different size holes, but not as critical to running as a main jet, pilot jet, needle jet (aka emulsion tube, aka main nozzle), or slide needle.)
