Alloy Art compression release valve was created by Gr8uncleal
Has anyone tried these (M12 x 0.75")?
The Harley Davidson part (32076-04) seems very thin on the ground, so I'm looking at alternatives. Has anyone tried any of the chainsaw, grinder etc ones (eg Stihl), assuming that they fit?
Thanks.

Why not try an aftermarket HD decompressor valve, which fits under a longer reach spark plug?

I've used the chainsaw type and made my own adapters by drilling and tapping the original steel blanking plug. Suzuki part for the plug (09247-14025) is under $3.00 at the Suzuki dealer.

Thanks all.
I'm just looking for a "plug and play" valve and, in the absence of the Harley part previously referenced, this, on the face of it, appeared to fit the bill.

On my AT with the 175 top end the electric start could bearly turn the engine over, so added the type of decompressor that screwed into spare spark plug hole.
The result was when decompressor pressed an engine that had almost no compression and motor spun wicked fast but won’t start. Warm or cold no joy. Perhaps the Harleys need a large decompressor due to larger cylinder volume???
This is a motorcycle that is ridden regularly and only needs one or two kicks to start.
Good idea getting one designed for a chain saw and tapping plug to fit

I'm thinking--maybe wrongly--that fitting a plug hole decomp on electric start would act a bit like a decompressor on a Trials Bike which is like an engine brake when operating down hill.
I think you need the bounce of good compression to send on & through the second one--sort of. Hopefully it's started by then lol. Need a good battery though. Are we talking 125--i'm lost now.

I bought an alloy art decompression release several years ago for my 73 RT360. Screwed right into the 2nd spark plug hole and worked great until it came loose and blew out and hit me in the leg while i was barrel racing at AMA vintage motorcycle days last year lol. I need to tinker with that bike again starting with decompression release.

Sorry, I should have said that it would be for a RT2.
