Hi Fellas, i have a DT 175 model A 1974 that i am trying to restore . the plastic front mudguard is a kind of dirty white color but i have found some patches of silver . does anyone know what would have been the original color or where i can find this information ? thanks for your help. Jez...

One thing you can do is search the Internet for pictures... best is to find a brochure photo... there are also photos of most models in the tech library here. yamaha-enduros.com/index.php/workshop/photosearch

There's a whole paint thread on here too.

Duplicolor DE1615 or DE1650 are two. I think the 1650 is a closer match, others prefer the 1615.

I've also used Rustoleum "one touch" silver or aluminum... can't remember what they called it. It looked good too.
