1972 CT2 fuel tank was created by ay18176

I bought my 72 Yamaha CT2 from an estate sale down in Florida about three years ago. Well kept nice motorcycle. Fuel tank has original pain in very good shape. At some point before I bought it the tank had been sealed. When installing a new petcock I noticed the liner/ sealant has lifted where the petcock goes in.
any advice on best place to have the tank cleaned and resealed? There is really nobody around where I live that I know of that does that kind of work. I don’t really want a total restoration with paint job on outside of tank because it’s original and in great shape.  Thanks for any advice.

My 81 DT175 Had tank sealer in it when I got it that looked like total crap, I used acetone to remove it then used the POR15 tank sealer to reseal it. Hope that helps.
