Revell Model Kit of a DT-1 was created by Relicracing

I just bought this box, locally, of a DT-1 plastic model kit.
It has a date of 1971, on it. Nothing inside, but I had to have it on my shelf.
Anyone have a complete one? Wanted to share it with you all.

Those were available a year or two ago. Darin posted where. It was all in Japanese, and I think I threw all the paperwork away; maybe he still has it? Anyway, I bought one, and it's in the box (a real basket case). I have decided much in my life will have to wait until I'm old and decrepit and unable to ride Yammies, shoot, exercise, ride a bicycle 30 miles a day, Nordic ski, and everything else I am able to do now. Then I will read every book I'm buying and stacking up right now, make this DT-1 model, watch old movies I've never seen, TV shows, all that bedridden stuff. But for now, it's be as active as I can, and fall into bed exhausted every night. There's a lot of truth to the expression that being retired is waking up every day with nothing to do and by bedtime, only having done half of it.

You can still find the Hasekawa (sp?) model kits made in Japan on ebay...  usually for stupid prices.  I think I paid $30 or $40 including shipping for mine a couple years ago.
I did notice that a few UK Sellers have a Revell kit for sale.

One day I'll finish this when I can't work in the garage restoring real Enduros.

The hours spent riding my Enduros is not deducted from my life span.

What?!?  Only one?  I guess I expected that if you had one you'd have a dozen or so.

Nice find...  amazing what people have collected and what's still out there after all these decades.

HaHa chaps, I can almost 'visualise' the forum 25years from now.  I will have just finished sucking my dinner up through a straw in the care home communial canteen, and asked matron to wheel me back to my room so I can get on with my latest Revell kit M/cycle.  I've previously sent a thread out 'what's the best glue to use' and have to now sift through the 43 replies giving advice.  Suddenly that 'beacon of light' Mark T has replied saying that particular kit for that particular year was a 'snap-together' kit no need for glue....you dozy ol' fool.  Ahh well the glue I got still smells 'reeaaall goood maaan'..!!

I built this kit when I was a kid. I love model building too.
