I confess I had never seen this "ichiban" guy before, and I really don't try to spend very much time perusing youtube. A friend had sent me a cleaning video link for a guy using a muriatic acid solution to clean a Holley carb, and this one popped up when I finished that one. It looked clever, thought I would share is all.

No apologies needed!  This really looks like one of his better ideas and might actually work!

I just wanted to throw the caution because most of his stuff is ridiculous parody of "cafe racer building" or "tank dent removal"...  Some stuff is outright dangerous like what Jim already mentioned... holding a match to the gas tank filler to burn out any fumes.

The sander part is probably fine in this video...  it's the cleaning solution I'd be cautious with...  petcock might end up dissolved in an hour.
