Looking for a tool was created by bosco659

Looking for a tool bag for my ‘78 DT175E. Would like it to attach to the cross bar on the handlebars. Would like to keep away from leather. Ballistic nylon would be nice. Anyone have one that works and fits well? Trying to find make, model and supplier. For storage of keys, wallet, phone and of course a few tools that won’t fit in the factory box. Thx!

I still have my Malcom Smith leather tool pouch from, I think from the late 70’s or early 80’s.
I see them on eBay occasionally.

Thanks Mark

Nice. I had a look on line and didn’t see anything. I think I’ll try to get a smaller bar mounted bag. Thx for the post.

Do you have one of these on your bike. That’s about the size I was looking for.

Dennis Kirk used to have a nice selection... had one on my ATV years ago... it was a heavy duty nylon fabric round barrel bag that had a plastic insert to keep the shape. Strapped to crossbar and worked great.
