Washington State Get-Together Ride was created by YZBill

I know there’s a couple other members here from Washington. It’s a little late in the season, unless you don’t mind riding in the wet or the cold, so I’m just going to throw this out there for next year. From previous experience, it’s difficult to find areas that appeal to everyone, but today my boys and I rode over at Whiskey Dick, just west of Vantage. It’s not an overly technical area, which makes it perfect for old Yamaha Enduros. There’s a number of YouTube videos of people riding there if you’re curious about the terrain. It also has some spectacular views of the Columbia River, which we did not get to see as freezing fog rolled in shortly after we arrived. The area is closed Feb 1st - Apr 30th due to elk migration. I’ll be watching the weather and if there’s a warm from rolling through I’ll try to get out there again and take some GoPro videos.

We have a lot of members in Washington, actually. Haven’t tried to choreograph a NW enduro ride or endurofest, but it certainly could be done. If everyone is riding enduros, that opens it up a lot, as any open road is game.

Certainly is worth exploring. I ride a lot over in Eastern Oregon, as they seem to have more terrain open to our bikes. If looking for riding parks ((like the Hungry Valley in Cali) that would be awesome too.
IF it isn't one thing, it's another.

Here’s the trail map for Whiskey Dick area. These are part of the Green Dots road program in Kittitas and Yakima county. These roads are open for ORV use which includes everything from dirt bikes to 4x4 trucks.
