RT1 air filter was created by Murf

Hi everyone.
Having hunted around a bit it seems like original air filters are almost impossible to find. What do you all use? I have seen foam replacements from UNI and K&N or is there an aftermarket paper filter available?
Many thanks

I use the Uni filter in my RT1B myself. it works fine and does a good job keeping dirt out of the engine.

If you're going to be in the dirt at all the foam/oil is far superior to paper. I too like the UNI.

I think the 72-73 filter is different, my bike is a 1971 RT1piston Port Badge bike.

Thanks everyone. I think the part numbers for the RT1B are 2141445199 and 2141445800. It looks like a UNI filter is the way to go if I draw a blank on original. Is there a supplier in the UK that anyone is aware of?

Just be aware that the supplied cage with the Unifilter is just a shade too long for the
stock airbox . If you still have the stock Yamaha cage , just slip the unifilter foam onto
that . Otherwise , you'll have to shorten the Uni Cage by 8 - 10 mm .
