speedo/tach rebuild was created by wayno

sorry to bother you all again, had the cases back from rechrome today and most of the (i assume) reflective paint has peeled off, is there a specialist paint or can i use any similar colour paint?

So is that case back from re chroming?
If it is go and get them by the head ( the people who have supposedly chromed that) and rattle them a few times .
Chrome don't come in a can. It's a process . That part has definitely not been through the chroming process as the blue coat on the inside is factory and if it had been plated, that would be gone.
If that's supposed to have been plated ,go and get your money back because it hasn't.

I do not know about the color of the paint. I agree with shyted, there should be nothing left attached to the metal but chrome on the shiney side. Did they possibly use chrome powder coat?

it is chrome and not painted or powder coated, the blue on the inside is very "powdery" rub with a finger and it's gone, kept it only for colour comparison. had 2 springs, front leg cable guide, leg heat shield, chain adj, clock bowls, headlight rim for £60 so I am not complaining.

Light blue spray paint is fine.
