Hi everyone, I just picked up my first project in 5 years, a CT2. It's a rust bucket but I couldn't pass it up for $100. I use to always keep a project or 3 in my basement but I just stopped when my wife got cancer and we had a long 2 year battle with that, she's fine now. I had just finished up a 1970 Honda SL 175 and a 1974 Hodaka Dirt Squirt. Most have been 4 strokes but I did do a TY250. I'm just coming off shoulder surgery and I am anxious to do something now that I've got my arm back. I've been retired for 8 years and will be glad to have something besides running and tennis to occupy my time.
I think for now I just want to get this thing running for backyard use. It's missing a seat, oil injection seems to have been still in use although that compartment was full of water and mud. Someone has swapped in a 21" front wheel, i may or may not keep that pending evaluation of the rim, it's rough.
Can anyone recommend someone to do cylinder boring? I have seen Dales videos but have no idea how to get in touch with him.
