Brand new member with a 1970 CT1 I bought from my son. He is a member and told me about this forum and the wealth of knowledge here. My youngest has asked to get her motorcycle license and agreed. I think her big brother riding and me (Harley Street Glide) have played into that. My son was sharing how riding a motorcycle on campus is easier to park, etc. Technically bought the CT1 for my daughter but may end up keeping it for myself. This bike has Ninja 250 rear arm, front forks, and wheels. My son converted it to 12V. I have done new tires (fitting for an enduro not Ninja), fork seals, and fixed a few other seals and such. Got to do a few more things before we can take it on longer rides. As someone who rides a big Harley touring bike, I can say this CT1 is a blast to ride! I had an old Kawasaki 250 enduro in high school that I rode in the dirt with buddies. Brings me back to those younger days. Anyways, glad to join and will be using the forum search feature a lot to help answer questions as I tinker more on this bike.
