Good evening, all, my name is David. I've been working on bikes and cars for a long time. Just bought a 1974 DT 360. The guy I bought it from did not know what it was. So far have been able to find a lot of parts for it. Thanks for having me. I will be asking a lot of questions once I get it going.

  Ask away with your questions also change your brake shoes before riding they can and have delaminated being 50yrs old for safety reasons  post pictures using Imgur or google photos etc

Welcome from NZ down under. Good model those except a bit low to the ground for serious riding over logs in the forrest etc. CDI pulser coil can be a problem in old age. I had one 30 years ago as my ride to work bike.

Just a note. Pics wont load direct from home computer & need to be linked from something like imgur I believe. That option has been out of order for a long time.

I’m really excited to get it going and ride it. It didn’t have a carb or gas tank. Someone had turned it into a dirt bike. I’m going to bring it back to stock. It’s going to be fun. Thank you for the warm replies. Once I figure out how to send pictures I load them up
