New to this site, I keep getting locked out of the Yamaha Enduro site. I see several familiar names here though.
I've been passionate about motorcycles as long as I can remember.
I was born and raised in Southern California and experienced the Japanese motorcycle invasion starting in the early sixties (although I was only about 10 yrs old then).
Raced local motocross and D37 hare scrambles from the late 70's thru 2004.
Just play ride for fun now and decided I had to have a DT1. I picked up a 70 250 DT1C to restore, but have lots more other bikes. 70 Sachs 125MX, 72 Penton 125 Six Day, 73 Ossa 250 SDR, 75 Maico 250GP, 75 Hodaka 100 DS, 76 Maico 250AW, 77 Husky 250CR, 2005 Yamaha WR450F, here are some pics.

Winterwoods here.

Started out with a DT1E, way back, in Great Falls, MT.

Brand new, drove it off the shop floor for about $800.

Just finished a RT3(frame up) and recently picked up a
DT1C(love that Brilliant Red). No title, so,
Gonna make it an MX Clone.

I will be posting photos, as I get to know my way around.

I should
find a new front tire
as this one is 42 years old.

That is a really nice example of a really fun motorcycle! If you need a manual for it, I think we probably have one that covers that year/model in the Workshop section up top!
