Really shows what the bikes are capable of with basic maintenance.  I ride my DT400 1 to 200 miles every saturday morning in southwest saskatchewan canada   I'm amazed with its durability myself.  Oil injection intact and change the transmission oil every week   stock CDI and stator and it just keeps on going.

Thanks for sharing your beyond EPIC adventure!!! 25k on your back tire must be
some kind of record. Do you remember how many spark plugs, chain and sprockets, rear shocks ect. you used for the trip? Did you stay in touch with Kerry and how many miles did he go on his trip into Africa? Again Fantastic.

What a fantastic journey and thank-you for sharing it with us on the forum.  I'm sure the trip shaped your view on many aspects of life both at the time and now.  I believe we all would have loved to have done a Grand Tour like that at some time in our lives, but what separates you from the rest is having the 'Kahunas' to actually do it.  Huge respect for you.  Best regards Andy.
