Dt360a decompression valve removal was created by john.lockwood5@bigpond.com

Anyone know if you can remove the decompression valve installed in the engine
while the engine is still in the bike. If so, how do you get at it to remove it?
As a side note, compression is 145-150psi, is that good?

I'd take a punt and say that you can remove it without even taking the cylinder off (I think it threads in like a bolt). However, I'm not sure that you can clean out the hole properly without taking the cylinder off.

Problem is getting to the bolt, which is part of the valve, to remove it

The whole thing should dismantle in sequence from the front. Take photos as you go!
