Is 1976 250 and 400 interchangable frame

Have an option to buy a titled 1976 250 dt frame only. Will this interchange with 1976 dt400 frame and all it's parts?

Major components would fit...  but 250 frame may not have CDI box mount/bracket is about the only thing I can think of?  Not sure.  Someone more familiar may know.

Ok i am going to give it a shot since the price is low. The 1975 dt250/400 manual gives the same frame dimension chart for both. And the only difference i see near the front of the manual is that the wheelbase is 0.2" shorter for the 400 i am assuming because of slightly different forks? Going to look at it tomorrow.

They show the same "498" prefix part number for the 250 and 400 frame.

A slight difference in wheelbase is most likely due to the different gearing... different sprocket sizes and chain lengths which would have the rear wheel in a slightly different location in the slots.
