DT250/400B - what are the specs for replacement springs for Thermoflow shocks? was created by deux_smoke

Has anyone bought new chrome springs for these? Let me know if you have a preferred vendor.

Hi - I spent a couple of days trawling the internet last year looking for suitable replacement springs. I couldn't find anything. I e-mailed a couple of companies that looked promising, but got nowhere. I gave up. Sorry, that wasn't very helpful. Anyone got any better news on a suitable supplier?

Hi, I’ve got a DT400B (twin shock) with rusty chrome rear springs.
If I gave you all the dimensions of these springs, could you supply replacement springs?
It’s just the springs I would like to replace. I would like to keep the rest of the shocks original.

Hello Phil,
Thanks for your enquiry.
Unfortunately our springs are not compatible to be fitted with the original Yamaha dampers.
If the springs are not broken then re-chroming of these would be the way to go to keep the bikes as original as you can.
