Champion framed 75 MX250B was created by thumperstew

Just acquired a Champion framed MX250B. It's missing front end, tank/seat/carb/CDI unit. Engine turns over, cylinder looks OK. Plan to make street legal bike-F/R brakes, head/tail light, gauges, signals. Questions-what size steering head bearings? Appears to be 50mm OD. I have several fork setup options, 80s XL600-39mm, 80s YZ/TT600 43mm, 70s YZ/XR forks 37-38mm.  I'm putting a 76 DT250 stator/rotor ignition on for testing. Suggestions welcome from anyone who has done this. Thanks
