Did it work on the spokes too? The stuff I tried did well on the rims but nothing on the spokes

Spokes are probably cadmium plated it should help but won’t be as shiny as chrome. MarkT will probably know he’s the technical guru.

Ugh… I was just cleaning up my front wheel… alot of time and elbow grease… I fought it all with WD-40 and the scotch brite pads… many of them too… they still aren’t showroom nice but much better.. you can get the scrubbie past the intersection, takes a bit of effort…
