1974 DT360 Front Fender was created by beerens20

Hey gang, before I start scouring ebay I wanted to check in here.  I'm looking for a front fender for my 360.  I'd like to find one in decent shape, no rust holes, and with all the bars/hardware to connect it.  Does anyone have one lying around that would be willing to sell?

You're in the US, Indiana?

The US model came with the high (plastic?) front mudguard, not the fork mounted lower one.

I have same bike and needed same front front fender
I had a very hard time finding one...eventually I found one on eBay from a seller in Jakarta Indonesia.  I think it was crazy high, like $150, but I splurged because I wanted it because the bike was my teenage dream fulfilled 40 years later.  And for what its worth, I have NEVER had an issue buying from this part of the world, these folks are pretty honest people

Ok, thanks for the insight.  I looked all weekend at the mid-ohio vintage days but couldn't find any.  I guess I will just keep looking and hold out hope of a local miracle find!

OK!

The Euro models did actually come with the lower mudguard.

Just keep your eyes peeled on fleabay, Craigslist etc, as they do turn up from time to time.

There are two versions of the mudguard and brackets - a smaller one with kinked front stays for the smaller models, and a larger one with much straighter front stays for the larger models.

You’ll have to Frankenstein something if you want the metal one. As mentioned the earlier bikes came with metal low fender but lower forks were different and made to accept the metal fender brackets. Yours isn’t. That stopped in 73.

DT360A forks still have the mounting points for the metal fender (well, mine has!). They are used as the mounting points for the aftermarket fork braces.

Awesome. I thought the 74 had the same lower legs as the 76 DT400C. I see from the exploded view Gr8uncle has it. I stand corrected!
