DT250 1976 UK 512 model was created by Bonebagger

Hi and thanks for allowing me in.
There doesn't seem to be much info on the decal sources and colo(u)r codes on the 512 version.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
TIA

 from near Salisbury, Wiltshire.

If the actual decals for UK are the same as US, then see the link below.

Diablo Cycle :: • Decals :: • Yamaha :: RT/DT Models :: Complete Decal Sets :: DT400C 1976 Complete Decal Set

Do you have a UK/Euro parts list for your bike, where you can id the exact colour? Anyway, I am also attaching the paint code details for 1976 models, just in case it helps.

Use the "Search Forum" button above (between My Topics and Subscribed) for the paint thread on the forum - this shows which other paints match the Yamaha ones.

Paint and stripes in Europe/UK was completely different from what I've seen.  Someone posted some UK brochures a few years ago.  Not sure if they are in Tech library here?

Most available info is for US models unfortunately.

Here's a link to a 1975 DT400 Holland brochure...  I believe someone said the UK bikes in that timeframe were imported from the Netherlands?  I know they had a lot of colors and the different stripes we didn't get in the US.  Maybe ebay UK has some brochures for sale?  Or search past auctions even to get pictures?

BTW, the code of "50.12" on that Holland brochure decodes to December 1975 as far as I can tell so it might be a 1976 model brochure?

If you find out the details your searching for and can get some dimensions ,i suggest you try Image works in Leicestershire .
They have made stuff for me from pictures and a rough idea of sizing . My HT1 has their decals on . I found an image on google and they made it from that.

Thank you. The paint chart was barely visible but I see New Portuguese Orange and one coat + clear, but it didn't seem to be for the US bikes. I can only assume that the factory would use the same orange code for all 250's that year.
Not got the UK parts list as I don't even know one exists. Might be European version as suggested further down.
I have asked Graham at ImageWorks and waiting for a reply....and yes, he is quality....doing a KE175 atm too

They are the same stickers. If I knew it was going to be such a challenge finding these decals I would have sent the dented tank to ImageWorks before taking it back to bare......How many times do I have to repeat this error before I learn....Doh!

Search fleabay UK, Fr and De for the parts list - it will likely cover all Euro versions of the model and will confirm the colour of all models.

I've bought quite a few manuals from ebay seller bobomoto58, who is based in France.
