Hello,
    I know this is off topic , I have same motorcycle and wires were not there when i got bike for battery and fuses and regulator. all red wires I would like to have pictures where they go and What they connect To? If You can`t poat a picture or two, three you can send them to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. Any help would be greatly appreciated ! 
P.S. Does red positive on battery have another lead(pigtail with female bullet connector) And if so where`s it connected?  I know heavy red lead (thick One) goes to starter Relay .

Hello from the UK.

Going from what's on my RD200 (which is a similar setup to the electric start DT), the red female is likely for one end of the fuse holder wires.

Have a look for a Service Manual for your bike in the Tech Library (see top toolbar) and, if there, there should a wiring diagram at the back of it.

To increase your chances of replies, maybe create a new thread in the Reed Valves section (people might see the title and think yes, I can do that!).

I have a wiring diagram! for a 1975 , still doesn`t help if its not clear and you don`t understand it.

Looks like there's a red coming off the heavy red but through a fuse to the main switch. Probably in reality starts from the battery as a separate wire but screwed to the positive terminal along with the heavy one. God i hate looking at wiring diagrams lol. Makes me go gaga. I just look for smoke then go ok that's wrong lol.
