does anyone know what name or code is for the mudguards (fenders) on a 1974 DT125A?

I think a few people have used Ford Moondust Silver.
I can't recall the paint I've used, it'll be on one of my resto threads, but will be a 2 pack paint not an aerosol.

I don't know if you're trying to do a factory-style restoration, or just spruce it up (like I was doing) but Dupli-Color DE1615 comes really close. Just a bit lighter than the original factory paint, but it looks nice.

I restored a DT1 with the silver fenders and the automotive paint store matched up Hummer/AM General LT Smoke 356939. Chromabase paint.

Excellent, thank you. At this moment I’m not doing a full bolt restoration I just want it to loos a little nicer. I’m just going to clear the tank and keep the patina look but just give it a little loving.
