$6 is a great price, but it’s $19.50 for postage and possibly import duty…

EIGHT?!

I am selling my matching numbers CT1 (unrestored) as I am fat and need an RT1.

Next time you need some bits, get in touch on here and I can sort you out a bit cheaper.

Thanks for the offer and I've made a note for future reference.

Re needing a RT1, I think that Pete here in the UK was thinking of selling his restored one - might be worth you having a chat with him.

Gr8uncleal said: I haven't actually fitted them yet! I've yet to summon up the courage to attempt to fit a new stripe to the front mudguard (bike is a DT3),

I install the front fender stripe by having someone hold the fender firmly on a bench or table. Then peel about an inch of the backing tape away and fold it at a 90 degree angle to the side. Then apply it to one end of the fender holding it in alignment down the center to the other end. While keeping it taught then pull away the backing tape. Having a third set of hands will help with the process. Occasionally I have to remove small air bubbles with a pin.
The hours spent riding my Enduros is not deducted from my life span.

I needed a set and like you thought they were a bit expensive so I purchased 6 sets - one for myself and the others I sold on ebay.

Made a nice little profit!
