Takasago front rim was created by Jammyyammy

Hi all, my DT400B (US spec)!needs a new front rim. Although mine is in very good condition - the chrome is very good and spokes are very good, there is a ding in the side of it that I doubt will be able to be straightened out.
My rim (I'm assuming it is the original) is a Takasago 1.60x21 6A 104, 36 spoke. I've found one from 'motorcyclepriducts.co.uk' which seems cheap as chips. However, the details don't include 6A or 104.
Will this rim be an ok replacement?
Can my original spokes be re/used? Not to save money - I just don't want it to look too new or too good compared to the back wheel.
Has anyone bought one of these from motorcycleproducts? Is it ok?
Thanks to all....

Check those details with the vendor .
Although the rim is the right width , diameter and the correct number of spokes ,
it may not work for you .
Spoke nipple nub orientation is different for full width hubs and half width
hub , as on your bike .
I'm not sure which of those extra codes is the critical one , but suspect it is the 6A .
Hopefully someone better informed might be able to add further information .

So, I've been reliably informed that the 6A etc stamp on the rim is the date of manufacture. The 6 = 1976, A = Jan.
So, the 3 digits are the model number. Does anybody have a list of what model number is fitted to what bike?
I'm particularly interested in what model should be fitted to the front of a DT400B - and are any other models compatible.
Thanks

See attachment below.

The three digit code stamped on to a part relates to the first model that it was fitted to, and this won't change if that part is fitted to a later model.

If you haven't done so already, you can use sites such as Partzilla and CMSNL to see which parts were shared between models - select the part, scroll down and you will see the list. Just bear in mind that, for our bikes, the databases of both of those sites only hold parts lists for the US models.

I found the attached to show which 3-digit Takasago rim fitted which 1970s Kawasaki motorcycle (sorry!). Is there not a similar list somewhere for 1970s Yamaha motorcycles?
