Foot rest spring - DT400 (US Spec) was created by Jammyyammy

Hi - my DT400 (US Spec) needs a spring for the left hand foot rest. eBay has one in the states for £36 including delivery. For a spring. Ouch.
Anyone know of an alternative option?
It seems the ones in Yambits are not suitable for US Spec bikes. They seem to be a different shape/size.
The model number seems to be 90508-26138

The stock springs had a nasty habit or disapearing.  I make springs out of spring stock from farm implement suppliers and make 1 inch longer tails on them so the cannot be pulled off by small bushes or stringy grass.  For 6 or 7 bucks you can make 10 footpeg springs.

I have used those on several bikes. They are perfect repops and they are a great vendor!
