I am trying to replace the clutch seal on the bottom of the engine. I have loosen the adjusting nut and unscrewed the adjusting screw as far as it will unscrew but when I try to pull lever axle it moves a little but can not get out, sounds like it is hitting something. What else should I do?

Hi - I just did mine
you have to go kinda back and forth with the adjuster that has an offset pin while wiggling the clutch lever.
Same when you reinstall

The offset pin on the adjuster that msavitt mentioned rides in this grove on the clutch actuator. If the adjuster is not backed out far enough the actuator will hang up on the adjuster pin.

Thanks for the replys. I have backed the screw out as far as it will go and wiggled as screwing adjuster screw back in but still have not gotten the actuator out yet. Thanks for all the help, will try again tomorrow.

I had not backed the adjusting screw out far enough, after jiggling and working the adjustment screw it came out.
