The mushroom head on the frame of my 360 for the kickstand spring is gone, so I can’t put the spring on the stob sticking up to make it stay. Have you guys done anything besides welding to get something for the spring to catch? On the stand itself the mushroom head is still intact. (Sorry the title says “stone” instead of “stob” - that’s autocorrect for you)

you could grind off the stub, drill, and tap where it was located, about a 6mm hole, and either thread in a 6mm bolt of the proper length then tack weld it, or use a slightly longer bolt and put a nut in either side of the flange so it locks in there. You could grind the head down to resemble the mushroom for a better look.
IF it isn't one thing, it's another.

Couple questions time..
Are you in the states?
Do you have access to a welder?

if so, I can send you one.

I am in South Carolina, and I can probably get access to a welder - the guy who is going to rebuild my engine should be able to get access to a welder.

Since I don't have a 74 RT here, I took the liberty to blue tape and marked it to the measurement of a 1978 DT125 and a 1970 CT1.Just a suggestion on that. Maybe somebody here with that bike will measure it correctly for you.
It is a tad bit long but will work out for you fine after you cut it !
Enjoy !!!

Instead of cutting it shorter, I'd grind the old one off flush, drill a hole the size of the new one, tap it into place and then tack weld or braze.
