I have a 1978 Yamaha DT I'm restoring it to stock. I'm having trouble finding the right paint code. Can anybody help? The color is a gray color. and my vin # 1M1-100396

My bike is a 1978 DT 250E, forgot to type the E. I have some infor on my restoring job. The color is Crystal Silver. what I need is the color code still. I would l like to thank MarkT for the infor on the tech library. That is how I found the paint Name, still looking for the paint code.

Thanks so much, that is what I'm looking for. Now I can paint my tank with the right stock color, again thanks. When done I'll post photo's. I
m not in a hurry to finsh restoring the bike.

Pretty sure that this is the document I used - fortunately Crystal Silver was one of the first colours in the list at the end section!

Vintage Yamaha Enduro Fans - YAMAHA Model index -1958 - 2010 (yamaha-enduros.com)

Someone on the aircooledrd forum converted it into an Excel document, so that it can be sorted into whatever order a user requires - message me with your email if anyone wants it.
