Yep this link works. Other one i mucked up was half the cost so look for similar on Aliexpress. Coil has to look like that with the extra bit on it for the box. Single wire in--brown wire in your case. I did see one listed but was a points coil so be careful although obvious difference.

My resistance ideas might be a bit high looking at your image of the manual but they say 1.65 but might mean 165. Anything up there is good at the moment.
Ok, another edit. If i look at my yamaha sheet for a YZ400 "75 for Europe it says 120 ohms so i'm miles out although "75 has the early pulser coil but not sure if that means anything so far as source coil goes. YZ400 run a full flywheel cdi mag so thinking similar source coil for resistance.

A couple of years ago someone sent me details of how they had modified a cheap pit bike ignition to work on a TY175. Seemed like a very good idea to me, and didnt appear to have been that difficult to do.

If you order a Rexs Ignition, make sure that your flywheel matches the # on Rex's site. Looks like yours should be stamped F1T350 for a Monoshock DT.
